Any tips for hooping using the large wood hoop? I struggled with a Carhartt today--it occurs to me that the very fact that the wood is not too smooth helps to hold the item but man I couldn't get that hooped easily. Think I might have given up and taken it to my other machines with the large plastic hoops but since large jacket backs are one of the reasons I added to the Amaya to my "collection," my hubby and I refused to give up. But there's gotta be an easier way than for me and my not too small hubby having to push on it while the coat is on the floor!

Yeah- the "inner zipper" is GREAT, WHEN it's available, but otherwise, I say- stay on the floor to hoop if you have to- never done that, though- but have had my hands, stomach, ass, & various other body parts involved in hooping garments....whatever it takes-you KNOW!Gregory

Oh no - the large designs using wood hoops take extreme measures. I get everything lined up, push the bottom 2 corners in, have my husband reach around me to push the top 2 corners in. Plus a lot of grunting and groaning.
