You might go into the maintenance tab, then to the stepper tab. At the bottom there should be
Select trimmer type. This should be set at 0. Hit Detect Trimmer, then Set. Go up to the trimmer column and hit the in and out buttons to make sure the knife is moving in and out then you should be good to go.

One more thing. Daniel, when you get this error, try hitting the e-stop button and releasing is. Then hit your forward button once. It should take you to the next sew point. Hit your start button and you should be good to go. Before the next design go thru the detect trimmer step or you will run into the problem again when you turn your machine off.

Hi Dan, what Debbie suggested should have fixed your problem. Can you be more specific on what it does to your design? And is it the "Selector Stepper Index Error, Off Index while sewing?

I'm find this topic more and more interesting...I too get the stepper error randomly in the middle of a design, and I hit either the STOP button and it clears, or else I just hit CANCEL and START and it continues. Sometimes it messes up my registration and sometimes I can catch it and realign by eyeballing it. Does anyone know what the cause of this is?
