Suddenly, when I open DSv9 lite, Melco Sizer opens up, and nothing I do, changes that. The problem is that I can not send the design to the machine any more.
Yesterday, I had a satellite tech changing things to point my satellite dish to a new Ipstar satellite, and my internet access has just as suddenly improved. That is the only change.
I had used the machine all last week, sewing out lots of Easter designs, without any sign of programme problems.
Today, when I open up DSv9, and up comes MelcoSizer, and I can see a DS symbol at the top left corner, and I can click on that and open it to a page only (I can still see MelcoSizer and its command line right behind it), and I can open a design (from the melcosizer command line)onto that DS page, but again, I cannot send the design to the Amaya.
I have tried changing the ethernet cable from the from the router back to the computer (where it was before I was ever connected to the internet), and back again, to no avail. I have turned the whole lot off at the wall, waited a couple of minutes, rebooted everything - to no avail.
What I find strange is that Melco sizer has its own icon on my screen, as does Live Design Prep, as does Melco Sizer, neither of which I have ever used. My installation CD is in pristine condition.
Would it be quickest to remove all the melco programmes and re-load them?
