Machine idle 20 months, basic oil & lube maintainance, new needle and bobbin = worsening false and true thread breaks = check messages, find same as others, and advice noted.
So, my problem is that whilst checking out the different maintenance tabs, I accidentally changed the 'curent Z position' number, which I did not note, but think it was 21.??, and then '26.6' appeared, but the sewing out was woeful - all loose threading under all 7 letters that sewed out before i stopped the machine when I heard a squeaking-grinding noise.
When I L-click on 'Hoop Timing' the number progresses, but I don't know how to get it back to the origonal setting before I made my mistake.
I cancelled to exit the maintenace tab, but when I re-opened it, the new '26.6' was still showing.
Any clues appreciated.
