ENS - tool for sending design to machine - won't run
Go to melcouniversity.com and under the Resources Tab you can print out or review online their Quick Reference Guides that might help you out till you have your training. They are very useful.

Posylane,
John is correct in that some professional training would do you good. Save you a great deal of time if nothing else. Melco has a trainer or two in the Dallas area.
Just to clear up for all.
ENS (Embroidery Network System) is the predecessor to the Amaya OS software and is only meant to be used with machines made before the Amaya series. You do need an ENS dongle to run this software. The only reason the ENS software is included on the DVD Melco sends out today, is so they only have to have one disk to send to all customers.
