I'm currently 3/4 of the way through ball cap/visor season. It's been a doozy!!
What works for me is to hoop the visor on my trusty CCFs and tell the machine its sewing on WACF. It seems to give a little more room to get the size I want and have it centered top to bottom.
Always measure width from seam to seam and height from seam to seam. I have a clear plastic flexible ruler that I use to line the center point up on each visor while on the machine. You could measure the center point on each and mark with tape if you wanted.
I generally use Augusta visors and as long as I trace each one before hitting start, it works well for me.
Thanks to all for all the great info on this forum!!

      Sarah-

I have a little flexible ruler that I ma using to mark center as well. I have over 1 dozen done of a 33 piece order (visors)
Yesterday I completed the 31 Youth Caps for their t-ball teams and next week I have 73 regular Ball caps to do. This is a BIG order for us and last year we had to turn away orders like these because I couldn't do the embroidery!!
      I love my AMAYA!!!
