  • Bobbin showing on top of design

We get our designs digitized for us. We have never had a problem with any of their designs. I just received one I need to get out for tomorrow and the bobbing looks like it is pulling thru the design. I have rechecked the tension and can't figure it out. I thought maybe the design was too dense so they revised it. Any suggestions- it always happens at night when their customer service is closed.

I will try to post the picture of the design.

    Thanks in advance

try increasing your bobbin tension and raise your lower thread feed limit by 3 ( if it is set to 2 set it to 5.
    or increase your material thickness.
    any of these will help.

How did you get the photo to post on the group
    that is nice.

      I'll try them thanks.

I enrolled in photobucket.com and post my pictures that I want to post in forums. Then attache the Link Code for HTML for websites and blogs. It works really well.

      Thanks for your help

Try using you Column Feed and Run Fill tools located in Settings, Thread Feed. It is primarily what these tools are useful for, both in Standard or Auto Activ-feed..

I will sometimes use these tools while using auto activ-feed in the Standard mode to have more control over the material thickness if auto acti-feed doesn't give me what I want.

I actually ended up switching the Acti-feed from auto to standard and it worked fantastic.

          Thanks to all.
