Some how I ended up with 2 of the large jacket back hoops. I've had them for almost 2 years now and have never even taken the 2nd one out of the melco packaging. Part #1020401 retails for 60.00 will sell for 30.00 plus shipping.

I have two of these, but they are wooden. I use them all the time, so I may be interested. Can anyone tell me when to use plastic vs. wood? Also, is the available embroidery area the same; the plastic frames have a taller profile which, it seems to me, reduces the area. If anyone has a spare 53 x 43 tubular sash hoop they would like to sell, I am interested. I have the extended arms and would like an extra hoop.

I don't have a wooden one so I can't answer your questions. Hopefully someone will have both and be able to tell you. The inside of the hoop measures 16.5" x 11-3/8" if that helps any.
