Fair deal on a new Amaya XT or XTS?

Hello,
I’m from Thailand and interested in a new Amaya. In Thailand the new XTS is not available yet only the XT is available. The XT costs around 540,000 Baht which is approximately 17600 USD .
For this price you get the machine, cap driver, different hoops and Designshop Lite.

If it comes to single head machines I think Toyota is the market leader in Thailand by far.
Amaya is new to the market but people have been very interested at the last garment machine fair in Bangkok.
The Toyota 9100 sells for the same price, Happy is somewhat cheaper.
My question is:
What is a fair deal in USA right now, if you buy a new machine?
How much is it in the USA?
Is a Software Upgrade possible to sweeten the deal? Or how much is a software upgrade to Designshop Pro or Pro+?

For that money you should be getting the DS Pro software, A package deal here would be a bit less, But you have shipping to pay..
And your getting the older model which should give you leverage to get the higher level software. Make sure they in clude the Flex OS software also if not the Flex Plus OS..

thanks for your quick answer. In that case I'll try my luck with the sales agent in Thailand.

An import from the USA is pretty much out of question. The shipping would not be so expensive but the import tax, thai customs are a pita.

That is a reason why most imports from non asean countries are very expensive here.

If Rapos Thailand, the Amaya sales rep, can't offer me a better deal I may go with the Toyota 9100.

The machine you pick make sure there is a tech near by that can help you whenever you need it.
You will need one sooner or later and it's tough when your machine is down and no one near to fix it.
Service for your machine is very important to your suscess.
