Looks like Kevin is located in Tracy, California.
Although, that may not be where the machine is located.....

          Kevin,

What year is your machine? Is it an XT?

          Thanks,

            Lenae,
Kevin says in his first post that it was purchased in Dec. of 2004. That would mean it's not an XT machine.

            Hope this helps.

Ed is correct. We received the machine in Dec 2004.

Thanks for the info. I am new to the forum and do not know what year the XTs were first produced - that's why I asked.

The immediate wway to tell the difference, because some of the "pre-production" XT's were produced "red and white", of which I have one is, an XT will have a round sewing arm, a true "Big Red" will have a flat topped sewing arm.
