Is there any way to find out exactly where the needle will penetrate on the next stitch?

I may have answered my own question. I took the thread out, let it sew a little, trimmed, backed up and moved the hoop until it started in the right place. I could not tell if it would be level, but it was ok. What happened was I took the garmet off the machine and out of the hoop before realizing it wasn't finished sewing the lettering!! LOL Did I ever luck out! Any better way to do this??Creating the best First Impressions with custom embroidery.

Jo Leftwich
http://www.justsewitllc.com

I think we have ALL 'been there, done that'....and usually destroy the garment. You are SO lucky to get it to line up!
I still catch myself coming into the room and starting to pull something off the machine and realize 'almost' too late that it didn't finish-it stopped for thread break or something. With a hoop, I'm lucky...but with the speed frame...tough luck...no lining it up again without a miracle.
And done it a few times on hats...forget trying to line THOSE up again if you've unhooped them!
Good luck!
