I also read the Stitches magazine last night. Of course I had to find that pesky needle first! One of the most important things he said was that people need training. My old Melco EMC and EMT-10T came with printed manuals. The Amaya has everything on a disk. I guess I'm old-fashioned but I like a hard copy to refer to. Even then, the hands-on training is so important. Ed is so much younger than I thought he would be. And isn't he cute? Good luck! to you, Ed.
Ok, so checked the article and pic out of Ed and boy I was totally off on what Ed looked like for some reason I thought Ed was a much older person...It is nice to finally put a face to you Ed and not the monkey face either...
This reminds me of a song from a band back in the 70's, Dr Hook's Medicine Show, that just wanted to get their "picture on the cover of the Rollin Stone". Ed you have made it into the Rollin Stone of embroidery. Nicely done.
Yes, you're right Cindy. I was thinking of the same song when I wrote that last post.
Chances are, my one copy will be rained on with the pages stuck together.
We're supposed to get rain over the next three days and my mailbox cover won't always stay shut.

I didn't think the monkey face was you but you know how you think you know what a person would look like just by talking with the person and how they act...well I was way off but glad to see the real Ed standing up now!
Here's the link to the on-line article.
This looks like the preliminary interview, I guess before editing, because there are a lot of misspelled words and some things I would have prased differently.
Ed I just read the article and it is great...I haven't had to call on a Tech with our machine but it's good to know that you don't live too far from me...we live in Central Alabama...I'm sure one day we will have to call on a Tech and I will be sure to call on you when we need help...have a great day and until next time...

Well the cat's out of the bag Eddy....he tells me only his Momma calls him that.....way to go! And, yup, I am old enough to be his Poppa but have no claim to that fame...
Altho, I have not personally met Ed yet...hope to someday in the future...I consider Ed to be one of the better, more reliable techs in this business. I have on occassion called Ed with a head scratcher for some valuable input and he usually gives me plenty, not only machine wise, but in general conversation too .
