Need DTG Printer

I am working with a rapper and he is wanting to put his album cover on a couple of black tees and his face on a black tee as well and thought DTG would be the best way to go with this, does anyone do black T's or is it strictly light colors?

He is looking at doing just a couple of shirts at this time to see how it looks but there is a possibility he will do more...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We have a Brother GT541 DTG, however she only prints on light colors if he is interested.

The question of "Who has a DTG printer?" seems to come up often here. Is it possible to add a list on your website who does it as well if they can print white ink or not?

You can set up an account and open a store. They do DTG (Kornit--not in the same class as the rest of them), sublimation, and laser on fleece. Can do one or more. Customers can log on, upload graphics and sent it to print themselves. You get a check each month for your commission (which you can set at any rate you want).

I was at a seminar at ISS in Atlantic City last year and they were talking about DTG printers. They said that most of them do white/light shirts reliably, but none of them did darks consistently. Someone asked about the Kornit printer and the speaker rolled his eyes and said that printer was not in the same class as all the others. It does everything well. When I check on the price of a Kornit printer it was well over $100K for the low end version. This is what they use.

Their prices are the best I have found and they will do 1 or more. You also get wholesale pricing form them on blanks and decorated items.

They have generally been helpful when I have a question. I use them for several things even though it is 4 day shipping to VA.

We also use Colorado Timberline for the items we cannot produce ourselves. Being in Colorado also helps. They are extremetly helpful and very easy to work with. Their turnaround times are almost unbelieveable.
