I received a marketing email from a semi-local embroidery/promotional company via the Chamber of Commerce. How can I send it here in case people are interested in seeing it? By the way this company was featured in Stitches magazine last year, where they are evaluated and advised how to increase their business, so I'm guessing this was one of the suggestions. Anyway, let me know if there's a way to send it here.

Is a email blast or a link to a web page? If it is a link you can just post it but if it is an email blast I am not sure how you could do this..Tina K.<br />Embroidery Gals<br /> <a href=\"http://www.embroiderygals.com\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.embroiderygals.com</a> <br /> <a href=\"http://www.bridalgiftspersonalized.com\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.bridalgiftspersonalized.com</a><br /><a href=\"http://www.facebook.com/cruisetoembroiderysuccess\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.facebook.com/cruisetoembroiderysuccess</a>

If it's a scanned flyer, you can upload it to a photo sharing service and then post the link here for those interested.
I just want to be clear though, in this case it appears like something we all would want to look at (as a case study on how someone is marketing) but other self promotion or advertising should be cleared with Aaron or I before posting to the list.
If it's a pdf, you can send it to me and I can upload if needed.
If it's plain text you can use the quote function when posting and just cut and paste the text.John Yaglenski

Well, the address actually forwards it to another account and is supposed to delete it on forward. Looks like that isn't happening and the box is full as a result - will correct it momentarily.John Yaglenski

$16.66 a shirt - or $15 bucks a shirt plus about $6-8 for shipping to get to the $99 price. If you do your own digitizing, that might work - they are using cheapo shirts. 50/50 jersey knit - doesn't get much craper than that.
Logo set up at $75 free? Can anyone here get away with charging that?John Yaglenski

I thought they were the really cheap shirts too. They must try to upsell when the people see the shirts. That was some of the advice to them in the article: http://www.asipublications.com/Stitc...itial%20impact
Thanks for posting.

"The Szakatses have six-head, four-head and two-head machines."
The graph above from the article says they made $57k last year. Only $4,000 per head! They should be making twice with 12 heads. Sounds like a lot of down time or selling shirts with $1 profit. I made more than $4,000 last year with a single head machine doing embroidery part-time.
