  • Building a business base

    Hi Everyone.
I am new to the board and new to the embroidery game. I bought my Amaya used about 6mo ago and started a business because I wanted to be home with my twins. We had a pretty good start and I was able to quit my outside job far sooner than expected. Now business is starting to fizzle and I am looking for ideas on how to build a better business base. I have gone from business to business with cards and such but haven't gotten far. I would appreciate any help anyone can give. Thanks so much!!

    Hi Sarah,
The previous topic here was about BNI (Business Network International). You might check and see if there are chapters in your area. They normally meet once a week and are a great way to get your name out. Also, you might look into membership with the local chamber of commerce.
Our local paper puts out a welcome edition to new residence in our communities once a year. It lists alot of the clubs and organizations in the area. That might be a way to connect with groups that you otherwise wouldn't have contact with. Also the chamber might have information on clubs and groups. Just some ideas.

Contact your youth sports programs. Most try to deal only with local businesses.
