Looking for Good Website Developer/Host

I'm getting ready to start building a small, online business, providing personalized embroidered items for folks who have show and performance dogs, so I'm looking around for a good web site developer and hosting company. Wondering if anyone can give me some suggestions on where to look and shop around. My site will need to have a shopping cart, and I need to reserve my domain name, too (which appears to be available!) Trying to be cost-concientious, and thought about building the site, myself, but it may take me more hours to do than it's worth! Thanks for any leads that you can offer!
