Dakota Designs - usage outside of embroidery

Folks - here's a question I haven't seen before. I have a customer (medical office group) that wanted a design sewn on their office jackets, etc. I had them go through the Dakota catalog and they picked a design out which I owned the rights to throught he Treasure Chest I had gotten when I bought my AMAYAs.

I add their corporate name, change the colors to suit them and sew the garments. They are happy. So far so good.

They call me yesterday and ask if they can use the logo on business cards. I don't know the answer to that. My thought is that if Dakota allows you to use the design on garments for people it shouldn't be an issue on cards, but before they go through the effort and expense of getting them printed, I'm throwing this one out there.

I am no expert however Dakota collectibles does have a copyright on all their designs so I would guess they would not be able to use it for cards.
Call Dakota Collectibles to verify but I am pretty confident they won't be able to use it.
