What do I need from a car dealership to embroider the car company logo and the dealership name? Or can that not be done?

Sorry, what I mean is, what do I need to protect myself if a dealership asks for the car company logo to be embroidered on a shirt or hat?

Your local car dealer may grant permission for limited uses such as t's for his dealership or if he is sponsoring an event logo may be used with dealership name. as for general use of a logo, i would not touch that without a right of use letter from the manufacture home office.

I would contact the local dealer GM for a "right of use" letter from his dealership to allow u to use the logo for a specific event or shirt order.
I've never had a problem obtaining a letter before. Remember, its better to be safe than sorry. Some companys are very aggressive about enforcing their copyright.
