We are a growing retail/commercial services business looking for an experienced full-time embroidery operator. They will be responsible for all functions in the production of embroidered apparel. Looking for candidates who pay attention to details and “take ownership” to produce quality output. We strive to maintain a fun work environment when teamwork is important and interactions employee-to-employee and employee-to-customer are respectful, pleasant and fun, while often working with deadlines and rush jobs.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Operate Melco embroidery machines and set-up using Design Shop software
2. Ensure full embroidery details and logo files are included on each order
3. Sort inventory for order processing
4. Review sew file for stitch accuracy & sizing
5. Transfer digitized files to machines for sewing
6. Attach hoops to garments in correct and accurate locations
7. Set up correct thread colors and order of sewing for each design
8. Monitor for quality control
9. Trim and clean all items once sew out is completed
10. Box orders for delivery to customer
11. Basic machine maintenance
12. Maintain clean work space
Qualifications
1. Ability to stand for extended periods of time
2. Must be able to lift 25-30lbs
3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
4. Experience with Melco equipment and Design Shop
5. Computer savvy and willingness to learn to digitize and tweak designs
6. Ability to work in a fast paced environment that includes deadlines
7. Team player who can adapt and change to demands in our environment

This is a full time position with working hours of 8am-5pm Monday thru Friday.
