Hello all hope everyone is having a good day, I am in the process of trying to buy a used Melco but do not know where to look at the stitch count? I got this sent to me.. They said it is an xts but it is not a red top if anyone could help I would be most grateful!

Divide Z axis rotations by 2 to get stitch count....here is a link to what all the numbers mean

Thank you for the replies..... it is looking like 80,680,278 stitches.. so is that bad or good? it does not look to be an xts like they had thought as I am looking at being an XT....Comment

No, 80 million stitches is not all that bad. Last year we serviced a customer with 12 machines and the average stitch count on the was at 250 million stitches.
But, what you see on that list also depends on whether or not the motherboard was ever replaced. If it was then there is no guarantee that those are in fact real numbers.
I would question them on the serial number....could possibly mean that it from outside the continental USA....what is it's history...previous owner ( s ) ?Certified tech & trainer<br />208-898-4117Comment

I got a valid serial number.. they are the second owners but I am wanting to make sure it is going to work for a first machine..... would it be an issue if I called you ?Comment
