Sewing on a cap

I am using keyboard lettering for the design on a cap. How do I "tell" the machine to sew center out on the design?

In the screen whre you type out the text, select the font, etc., a little further down you'll see "Letter Stitch Order" and three boxes -- choose the one with arrows pointing outward from the center.
