Faux Fur

I have a large order of Faux Fur (Long pile) throws to embroider. Can anyone give me any hints. I know I will need to separate the faux fur from the lining so as not to embroider through both layers. I don't have scraps to practice on so I sure could use some expert advice.

I would go to Goodwill or a used clothing store and purchase something similar to the fabric for testing. There are some fabric stores that are like outlets that might have test fabric also. Margaret

I just caught the Arizona. SAS has several stores in Az that have all kinds of cheap fabric. Try there to find a similar fabric. I know there is one on Apache in Tempe and one on the West side. Margaret
