Amaya sewing in the same spot

Has anybody here had any problem with the Amaya XT when it is sewing a design a suddenly the machine keeps sewing the same spot very fast?

I had that problem a couple of years ago. What version of OS are you running? Do you have your equipment in a climate controlled space?

It did that to me once when I accidentally increased the density to .25 instead of 2.5 on a column stitch in the design.
