  • More on XT cap frame

    To the group...

Recently I had mentioned to some of you that you could remove the little stand-off from the XT cap frame. I need to make it very clear that the altering of any of the Melco equipment by the customer is not within Melco's policy and is not recommended or authorized by them.

Altering equipment, such as the cap frame, may lead to other problems such as flagging, needle breaking, needle and presser foot striking etc.

The proper fomat when a problem or issue arises, is to contact Melco support and report the problem or issue directly to them. The problem or issue will then be handled upline and modifications if necessary will then be implemented .

As a third party technician, sub contracted by Melco to perfom a service,. I actually was not authorized to release the information that I posted on the alteration of the cap frame.
