  • bibs & towel sew out

    Hi All,
I am hoping that you can give me some information on sewing out bibs, towels and blankets (Garden Lane for ex.) Everything I have sewn out on these goods, just doesn't look good. What should my denisty, pull/comp be? Trish

Hi Trish! Have you tried using Solvy?

Thanks for you response, I do use solvy.
The stiches seem to pull in the fabric and it puckers around the design.

Is this a stock design or a digitized one? Most stock designs(such as Dakota) have very bad underlay and it wouldn't surprised me this would happen. Also make sure you are using the smallest hoop for that design. For example, if the design is 2.5" round, use a 5" hoop. Most towels, use solvy and a sheet or two or tearaway backing. Also make sure there is no slack in the towel after you hoop it.
