Thanks for the suggestion of things for my sister-in-law to check Russell!! I forwarded the message to her. Now I have a question. I asked this a couple weeks ago, but did not get an answer, so here goes again...I need to switch my old screw on the 11 x14 size rectangle hoop for the bigger outside screw head version. The old one which is stripped completely, is small and in the middle of the area that closes when the hoop gets tight and I read somewhere that there is a replacement part that actually has the big brass head that sticks out to one side of the area that closes up as you tighten the screw. I hope I have made some kind of sense here!!!

I don't know what the part number is but it is the screw kit for the larger wooden hoops. To install the new parts you have to modify the hoop, I got a picture from Rod Springer of the modification, if I can find it I will e-mail it to you.Russell Silva
R. S. Durkee hoops sells parts. I think you can find what you are looking for in their website.

I just received the replacement screws to modify my two Rect. 14.25" X 11.75" hoops.
Melco Mart helped me with the part number. The one they sent me was, Hoop Screw/Barrel Nut Assy #005576-01. Cost was $4.00 ea. I'm not sure which other hoops this part applies to.
I would really appreciate a copy of the picture from Rod so I can do my hoop modifications.
Thanks! My email is: [email protected]Wendy Phillips
PPF Designs
