I have lost my Melco Fonts - Need help please

I recently installed some new TTfonts and apparently lost my Melco fonts. I cannot find them on my training cd's and I am afraid to reinstall OS because I would lose my upgrades. Can anyone give me some advise. It would be greatly appreciated.

Insert your DS CD. When it begins to install it will give you a list of what it is going to install. Select only the alphabets.

So hopefully you have them back now. BUT, the question in my mind is where did they go?
What happened to make them go away? Have you used TT fonts before? How did you install them?
Need more clues to unravel this mystery.
