Satin edge fleece baby blankets

Hello Everyone,
In 2012 I got an order for 1000 baby blankets. 500 pink, 500 lt. Blue, for a large OBJYN clinic. They wanted a soft fleece with a satin binding, 18" square. It was a learning experience for me to say the least. Got it done for them, they were very happy. I farmed the entire job out, encluding the embroidery. They want to order more....
Question is, has anyone ever ordered any thing from China? Looks like I could get the blankets made without the embroidery. Yikes! Is this the way to go?

I order from China, it takes a long time to get your stuff in. Other than that it's just like ordering from the US. It seem like it would save you a lot of time if all you have to worry about is the embroidery part.
