My original backing in the big roll is running out and I bought it from Melco. Who is a good supplier for the big roll of cut away thick backing? If it is Madiera, what is it called?
Thanks
Try American Embroidery Supply. Mention you are on this group and get a 10% discount. You can also get it cut to different sizes. They also carry Marathon thread which is think is very good - strong and shinny! And at a VERY good price - but you have to ask for it - not on the web site.
Threadart is a great place to get backing. They also have a threadart warehouse where you get discounts. I buy all my backing here, can't beat the prices.
HAT is the weight of the cutaway or what is it called?
And what was the size and widtth of the roll?

I think it was 3.1oz and 18 inches wide. It doesn't feel as thick as cap backing to me but thicker than the sheets I have that are 2.0 oz.
Thanks for the help..
We have customers putting in 40-50,000 stitches one layer.
If you contact ne off list we will send samnples
Sincerely
Fred
