Wow, this looks great. I bet each hoop size is $500 each. Would be great to hear from someone that has used it though.

I'd have to see one in use...the weight of a carhartt (or sanmar) jacket makes me wonder if it would pop that bottom hoop right off when moving around, if you don't have the 'table' accessory to hold the jacket up. Hanging off the hoop-the video makes it look like you can easily pop it!

OH WOW...everything is on sale...and those hoops are downright reasonable if they work like they show them to work!

We saw them at Long Beach and it is amazing how easily it works. I was worried about the maganets and the people in the Melco booth didn't think it would mess up anything. It is a very stong magnet so I would double check that before buying.

I got to use one when I worked in a gals shop one day last year... LOVED it! We were waiting to see what kind of machine we were getting before we bought one... now we have to make a couple more payments before we buy it! But it is amazing ans so easy!

Well, I have a Hoopmaster and can say it was worth every penny I paid. I had to sew some windshirt/uniforms for a local team without it and another batch after I received the HM and it was "sew" easy. The magnets have not posed a problem. The pocket guide makes hooping for sewing over shirt pockets a breeze as well. You won't regret it in my opinion.

                  Steve,
Do you have the mighty hoop? I am considering buying one or more. I already have the hoopmaster and love it. Which hoop size would you recommend, the 4,25 or the 5.5?

Watching this topic with interest...Could have used a mighty hoop today! I am leaning toward trying a 5.5 for starters, as I use this size hoop a good deal of the time now.

I just got one 5.5 with the frame to see if it would work for me. Yahoo I'm getting the little one the both big ones as soon as I have additional dollars. In addition to getting a second 5.5 to hoop while the other is sewing. I's significly faster, and no hoop burn! So it you are on the fencem have the dollars to spend do it now, you will get the return on your investment really fast from the saved hooping time.

I have the 5.5 and 11x13 hoops, and just LOVE LOVE LOVE them. Call midwest products (1-800-900-0741 or 262-257-0930), they are VERY helpful with what you want and/or need, they advised me which hoops and system to purchase at most cost effective for me. Ask about free shipping also!
and the shipping was FAST to me in Ohio, 2 days it was here!

I just got one and really like theory behind the design.
Has anyone noticed any change in the quality of their stitching? Do you find that you need to make any adjustments in terms of settings like pull compensation?

                            Thanks
