No suppliers - we tried to get an account with them too - and were told if you don't have a brick and mortar store - get lost. Funny, cause I do more business than the brick and mortar store in my area - but whatever.
Suggested my customers use Holloway, TeamWork Athletics, Badger or other brands that I can buy instead. Never looked back.
I am not sure about the Russell question but I will see what I can find out...I live 50 miles from Alexander City, AL where Russell is located and all of my daddy's people live there and a lot of them worked for Russell and retired from there...I know they have a outlet store in Alex City but I haven't been to it in years and years
...we had two Russell plants here in my town and they have closed...a big Russell warehouse about 6 miles from my house and it was sold several years back now... but I can contact some of my cousins to see what they can find out...I love Jerzees and have bought them for years...I have a customer that called me before Christmas wanting some more shirts that I got for her husband last year...I was able to find the same shirts same number etc. as before...I was so happy and the price was about the same too as last year...I had a big order to make and I told her she had called me just in time...last year I had to place her order by itself and it cost her a lot more for shipping to me and then mailing back to her...when I got the new shirts instead of being made in the USA...they were made in El Salvvador
...boy was that a shock to me and a disappointment too...I know jobs are going overseas because they are cheaper but Russell was such a hugh company and still is very well known in about this area...just breaks my heart that now instead of being made in the USA some maybe not all are now made overseas...I know one time Don and I were on vacation out west and we went in a giftshop to buy a T-Shirt for the kids and when we picked them up they were Russell and made in Alexander City...I told Don we go all the way on vacation and our T-shirts were made in our area...LOL...sorry this is so long...didn't mean to take up so much time...have a great day and until next time...

Hi Jenny,
I didn't mind the story! I have a client who needs three Navy size Large Russell sweatpants, No pockets, elastic drawstring waist and elastic ankle. She claims I got them for her last year, but I remember giving her Hanes PrintPro and her not liking them and asking if she brought me the Russell brand if I would put the lettering on. That what I recall happening.....Oh well. I may be able to find them on-line at retail price, that's OK, but if you have a chance of getting them cheaper please share. She likes only those.
I ordered those shirts from BlankShirts and I know they do carry some Russell and Jerzees so you may want to try and see if they have what you need...I will see what I can do...until next time
...

Do the ones at your Sam's Club have pockets?
all the stores that carry Russell seem to only stock the ones with pockets. I ended up ordering them from WePlaySports.com @ 16.99 each.
Thanks ALL for taking time to help me out.
Always appreciated.
Have a great weekend!! We in Southern California are being pounded with rain as we speak.
I also stocked up at Sam's Club. They are straight leg with pockets and that is what all the athletes here want. They cost me $10 a piece and sew great and are very comfortable.
