Firefighter job shirts

anybody know of where to get the sweatshirts that firefighters wear 1/4 zip with the denim collar and elbo patches. I found them retail. but looking for wholesale.

I order from GAME SPORTSWEAR for fire departments around here. www.gamesportswear.com. The shirt you are describing is #910, in stock from S-5X, available in tall, and a good choice of colors for special order. I order navy and gray for firefighters and black for a towing company.

The guys bring me 5-11 brand that they order online themselves. FYI: I have posted this before and learned that you would need a HUGE order to buy 5-11 wholesale.

Not sure exactly what you're asking but I'll give it a shot. My firefighter logos fit in the 7" hoop so I use the horizontal seam on the left front as a guide and the bottom of the design is 1/2" up from it. If they want a title I just rehoop and place it 1/2" below the seam.

Do you hoop it in the 7" hoop? Doesn't the zipper get in the way? That is my problem.

Place a ruler from the shoulder seam down to the chest horizontal seam, parallel to the zipper. This is your placement for sizes up to L. For XL and above, move the placement to the right 1/2", with the 3X placement about 1" over. The zipper should not be in your way.

We just did one recently, I will have to ask my co-worker (who is a VF guy) where he orderd it from. We did a sample for him to wear to see what the rest of the guys thought.

We use workshirts from Game, but also have an account with 511. You can buy 511 from Kroll, they will ship just one piece, cost a $! or 2 more then 511 direct. we use them for small orders. We us the All in One hooper and use the 5.85 hoops. We marked the top hoop on both sides at different levels and hoop over the seam on the chest using the marks to be sure its hooped straight.Make sure your design is above the seam. Names above the pocket is harder to keep straight. Just finished 50 plus of them and move to do. Bill @ Fineline Embroidery
