I don't have a retailer tax id number yet since I'm still learning how to "embroider" so I don;t have access to the wholesale suppliers yet, BUT I am going g to order some bags from blankapparel.com and it asks me for the email of whoever referred me so they can get $20.00 off their next purchase. Anyone wants it? Also, if you have a coupon code for this site to share with me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Jazmin

Not sure what kind of bags you want, but check out Sanmar...very easy to get 'wholesale' status...just need to prove you are a 'retailer'.
If your state has retail sales tax though, I think any distributor is going to want to have your tax number or they may have to charge YOU the sales tax!
But maybe there is another Amaya user close to you that will place an order for you, or have it dropshipped directly to you and get around the tax issue.
We here in New Hampshire have it great-NO sales tax...but that means NO TAX NUMBER! So sometimes it takes some 'explaining' as to why we can't produce a tax number!

Sanmar does require a tax id number. I will file the paperwork just not yet since I am not selling anything yet. I just want to buy some drawstring bags for my kid's basketaball team. It will be a present, I only need 9.Jazmin from Mexico in San Antonio
www.PoshLittleThings.com
http://www.etsy.com/shop/poshlittlethings

Tell Sanmar you just started an embroidery business and you applied for the tax number and you are waiting for the tax number to show up in the mail. They will sell to you for about a month without the tax number then require it for future orders.

Not sure about your state but in some you can go ahead and apply so you get your number and tell them you haven't started selling retail yet. They can do something like a hold on your account until you let them know you have your business going so you don't have to file the monthly reports. Call the issuing office. They might be flexible in your situation to help a new business get off the ground.
