I used to wear dress shirts for work...haven't in years, but I bought them by neck/sleeve length, the bigger the neck, the bigger the 'chest measurement' but I never saw shirts listed by chest size.
Us guys wear our clothes differently...LOL....
and just in case someone thinks I'm a scrawny guy, I can't even button a 'size 18 neck' shirt without choking...and that's a large size.
Okay, Ed...getting personal here...LOL...
anyways, I don't have 'manboobs', almost a beer gut but I can blame that on not being able to exercise since surgery...but I used to have to buy jackets in size 52...I'm bullnecked and broad shouldered, 72" from fingertip to fingertip but I"m not a Neanderthal either...LOL...
hoping to get back into kayaking next summer and lose some of this weight.
Lots of suppliers list several measurements, including length of the shirt, etc. An extra-large man's shirt from Sanmar and the same from Bodek&Rhodes can be 1" or more difference in the chest.
For Edwards, you can order various neck sizes and sleeve lengths, which you can't with the others - with the others you get medium, large, xl, and the neck and sleeve are what they are.
