I am researching having patches made. Has anyone done this? Is there a preferred supplier and what is their minimum order? Overseas or domestic? Delivery time?

Do a 'search' for patch suppliers here and you will find several recommended companies.
I use EMT (Emblem Marketing Team) and have used them for years, low minimums (50 pieces I think) and you can do the digitizing in your Amaya to test for the client, then send the jpg (and I am pretty sure you can send them a file from Design Shop in a format they can use) and the results are great!
Majority of your patch suppliers are actually doing the work overseas...I cannot name a single one that really does the work here. EMT has never let me down over 20 years now! Pricing from what I have checked (about 20 companies) is all competative. IT's the RETAIL pricing in the catalogs that can vary and that means YOUR profit level changes. LOW retail means LOW profit. -
