ARC Thread

I was at a local sewing store yesterday and they sell ARC thread. They have a discontinued sale going on. I asked about it and they said that ARC is no longer going to produce thread. Thought that was interesting. Also this same store sells a product called Hugo's Amazing Tape. It is a thick plastic that you cut into strips that overlap enough to stick together. Looks like the same thing that clear plastic table cloths are made of. Cut into strips long enough to overlap and put on your spools of thread. Stick without adhesive till you undo it.

You can also purchase "Thread Wraps" from www.longcreekmills.com. I have some that are great. I prefer them to Amazing Tape because they have a colored end tab which makes it easier to find. They also come in two different sizes (length/width).

Clear vinyl from JoAnn's Fabrics works just fine, too.
