  • Adhesive spray

Can anyone tell me what is best to take adhesive spray off of a garment. I am doing caps with a puffy foam design and am attaching the foam with a bit of spray. One cap has a sticky spot left on it that I can see.

    Thanks

    Cindy,

Try some alcohol first, if that doesn't work get some Goof off. You can get it at Home Depot or some hardware stores. Takes glue off of anything. It is kind of stinky so you may have to use the alcohol to clean off the goof off residue just to get the solvent smell out.

The way to eleminate the glue problem is to get the foam with the sticky back. I get mine at Michaels.

Steve, thanks for the sticky back foam tip. I finally tried nail polish remover and it worked wonderfully.

I would be careful with using the nail polish remover as it might take the color out of the material too.
