I have a customer looking at three different shirts and would appreciate any help on telling her which one is a better pick (all 3 are about the same price). One is Outer Banks 2100; the other is Bodek and Rhodes's Ultra Club Classic Polo 8538 and the 3rd is SanMars Port Authority Silk Touch K500. THANKS, Debbie Rinehart

Don't know the bodek but I like the Silk Touch. It has a small percent of poly so it holds up very well after many washes and the fabric is smoother to sew on than the 2100's. Just MHO

I agree with John. I just finished 75 of them for the High School Swim Team. I gave the coach three different Polo's to choose from and she just loved the silk touch weight and feel.

I have embroidered many UltraClub items and have been happy with the products. I have also done a lot of Outer Banks shirts and have been happy with those too. If they want a better quality Outer Banks shirt, try the 5011, it is a heavier cotton.

OB 5011 has a smoother collar, too, guaranteed not to roll. There are fewer colors to choose from.

Thanks to Mary, John, Steve and Debbie for the great help! I have an order for 40 in the men and women styles but I need to stay in the 6-7 dollar range to keep the final price down. Debbie and John, do you know if the silk touch style "pill" after several washings? THANKS, Deb

They don't pill - the slight poly in the blend sees to that apparently

Wonderful! I feel so much better about recomending these to my client after hearing from people who have used them. This is a good client and I'd hate to disappoint them! Enjoy your cruise and look for my sister-in-law, Amy Broxton and my brother Gary Broxton who will be there too! I'll be doing 40 shirts-40 bags and working 2 full days at my hospital PR job! I'll be buried under merchandise in a COLD basement...but making money! YEA Have a Pina Colada for me!!!
