  • bobbin longevity?

Am I misremembering about the approximate of stitches a bobbin will last.... Coates paper sided around 45,000? I'm sewing a jacket back of 88,236 according to AOS and it ran out at 84,688 - can this be correct?

I believe the stitch count per bobbin would depend on stitch length. One hundred stitches sewn at a length of 10 points (which I believe is equal to 1 millimeter) would be shorter than 100 stitches sewn at 20 points.

I use Coats BarBobs. They have 180 yards to a bobbin instead of 132-ish. Is that what you're using?
