Okay...let's save you some money. Take the coffee maker off the appliance counter-throw it out. You've had waaayyyyyyy too much today. Now you have a clean counter to duct tape your sweetheart to while you use her for a hooping stand. Enough duct tape, she'll stay still.
Drawing program...naw, just take all the dakota designs and merge them into one big design...then delete anything the customer doesn't want...and you will end up with the perfect design all digitized!
Poly Thread...might find that at the Poly Cracker store, left hand aisle...
PS...like I said, you've had wayyy too much coffee this morning. Switch to valium slurpies...
    you'll have a pleasant day....
    LOL....

Ok, I have had my laugh for today thanks Roland and Scot!

      Scot~

      1. I like the Hoopmaster station expensive but will save your sweethearts back and you could still have room for the coffee maker I bet!
      2. Can't help on this one as I use PSP X2 for almost everything. Ok, so I am new to the drawing scene and don't know that much but I still like PSP X2.
      3. I find that the Poly runs better on these machines so I use alot of Madeira Poly.
      4. No answer to your no question!

Good Luck and thanks for the laugh!

Now that he's got the jitters under control... ;-p
We have an All in One Hooper (and if you contact Sal Lucchese, tell him you are an AMAYA Chat board member-you get a good discount) and I bolted it down to a roll around 'microwave' stand-flat top, not the kind with the back shelf. All the supplies for cut backings and extra pieces are in the draw, and rolls and large bundles of backing in the storage underneath. Works great, takes less room.
Thread- Madeira...ARC (melco) is great, but Madeira ships your order usually the same day you call it in! Not 2 weeks later...and for us, the USA main office/warehouse is only an hour and a half away.
For drawing/graphic program-I do it all on my MAC since I run a full service graphic/sign/banner/screenprint business anyways and can design in Freehand 11 faster than any PC program...export the vector lineart right into Design shop, auto digitize or manually auto digitize one piece at a time. Unusual fonts (I have 7500+ on the mac) I just convert to path, in Design Shop, apply a column fill or whatever I want and use the 'font' as 'artwork'. Works great, saves me tons of time. Usually I already have the clients logo on file as vector file anyways if I have done any other type of job for them-so I can digitize it for embroidery in a couple of minutes.
Time for me to go get a 22 oz. low carb Monster...need that 'wake up' call! Can't have coffee...but Monster fits the bill and cleans out the plumbing better than beer! LOL...

I just made my first order from Ottocaps and they shipped the next day.I ordered a digi board, Sighman. by Wi something. I like those things to try fast ideals. If I don't write it down I forget. My mind is always popping or scamming Lol and that's with out coffee. well its nap time and I still need to deal with the pool. By the way, never have a pool built for your house.

Does your house go swimming alot then? I would personally have a pool built for myself and not my house!

                  Hi Scot!

This is not a Design Shop specific post as I am new to embroidery.

I have a variety of commercial animation rendering packages but there is a rendering package available for free that I have used elements from in various artworks much more than I thought I would over the last few years.

It is called Daz Studio and is available as a free download at daz3d.com. It provides a very quick way to render people, animals, etc., and it is nowhere near the learning curve to use that the more sophisticated (and costly) packages are.

I have already used some renderings from that software as the background image in my initial attempts at digitizing with Design Shop. The biggest advantage is the ability to quickly change a pose of whatever you are rendering (like a horse or other animal).

                  Dennis
