I have never heard of this distributor until today and I have been doing embroidery for 13 years. They have to be the only one who does not carry Hanes/Outer Banks (One of the most popular brands) among others that I sell on a regular basis.
Wasatch, if you want to stay in business, I would suggest changing the NONE under Brand Name to whoever makes that item. People won't buy no-name brands.

Ok, a few things here...

We use Wasatch... not for normal apparel and such but for promo bags and the like. Good prices and reasonable turn around times. We havn't had an issue like this before with them.

Anyway, regards to the response from the Rep - I am extremely suspicious. The person who originally registered did so under the name of Abdul Samad. Then another person comes along from the same company and posts as Abdul. So, my guess is, it's the same person covering their rear end.

Like I mentioned earlier, and as you all know on the forums, you have to verify your email address as part of the registration process - so it came from their domain name and someone who works there.

I doubt anyone higher up in the company would be so stupid to post the way the rep did here today. You certainly wouldn't be in business long. The point made could have been done in a much more businesslike way - or even better - dealt with offline by calling LuAnn and making things right.

A stupid, stupid, stupid move.

Would anyone in their right mind do business with a company that tells a business client - THEY ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOB and "Please let your friends know that if they want to work with Wasatch, they have to be serious about their business. Being lazy or sloppy won't help."

I'm on vacation in vegas this week and HAD to respond the second I saw this - my mind was blown by the unprofessionalism of the reply.

I am serious about my business, and I know two things...

1) I doubt we'll ever buy anything from them again.

and

2) I'm removing them from the AmayaUsers.com vendor list.

Dear List,
I have never heard of this company but for those who have and use them, it is possible that one individual covering their "bad service" as an employee is giving this company a bad name. Maybe one of us needs to contact the head of customer service, explain the situation and let them know what one of their customer service reps has done to their reputation. This might get LuAnn her money back in the end.

Wow! I never expected this to escalate to the level that it has.

I have read the apology from Abdul and appreciate his taking the time to post it for all to read.

I would like to thank everyone for their show of support in this situation.

As far as I am concerned this can be put to rest and we can all get back to the hecticness of everyday life.

Thanks again,
Have a great day, all!

I have never heard of them either but I am on the West Coast and assume they are on the East. Don't use too many suppliers over there.

Wow, look at what happens when I don't check the user's group for a while. I came in on page 2 and was really confussed. Finally found the start of the thread. I have heard of this supplier and have not ordered from them, but definitely won't now. I have never seen such a lack of customer service. Thnaks LuAnn for keeping us all in the loop.

I have used Wasatch T's on several occasions in the past and have always been treated with respect and treated like a valued customer. Though this instance was not handled properly by the vendor..."one bad apple does not spoil the whole bunch."
