  • BAD customer service!!!

FYI.....I just got off the phone with Wasatch T's os Atlanta.
Placed my order on Monday 8-11, 2 hours before cut off....requested 2 day shipping.
Got my UPS tracking today. Package DID NOT ship until yesterday.
Guess what Wasatch said? TOO BAD! Would not refund the extra shipping charges, offered no reason for dropping the ball. This tells me that this company does not feel that their major concern should be taking care of the customer.
I have never dealt with a situation like this in the past! If a company makes a mistake they should feel obligated to make it right.
    Wasatch DOES NOT.
Thank you for listening to my vent.....I am livid!
I shall take a few deep breaths and move on.

Again, I thank you for allowing me to vent. I say BOYCOTT WASATCH!!!

I'll add them to my list of 'don't use unless Hades freezes over' ....LOL....
Do you use Sanmar, Alpha or Broder or was this something only Wasatch had? I've never had problems with those three...except Alpha, they go on a 'purge' attack every couple of years-and if you don't increase your sales 25% or something each year, they will yank your discount without telling you. They lost ALL our business for doing that...switched to Sanmar, and my buying DOUBLED the first year...when new rep for Alpha called one day, I told him so! He kissedbutt to get us back, promised it would never happen again...but I doubt if I spend $300 a year with them...Sanmar takes good care of me. Alpha did have a 'zone skip' though that was nice-automatic next day delivery at no charge instead of 2 day like Sanmar...but the free freight from Sanmar is worth the extra day. And the few times Sanmar has screwed up an order (miscount, wrong size, or something) they have next day shipped free the right item with no questions.
It's been brought up before about probably every supplier known...at some point everyone of them has piddled off one of us...but find a supplier that takes care of you and stick with them and let them know!

I would have ordered from someone else but the items I needed were spirit towels and only Wasatch had the variety of colors I needed.
SanMar has the spirit towels in a large variety of colors, but my customer wanted the fringed towel vs. hemmed. Hemmed is available at SanMar.
This is a very time sensitive order. Last minute add on for the Babe Ruth World Series!
I could NOT pass up the order.
So, now I will work LONG into the night on Thursday to get these 240 towels done! I really needed the extra day, that is why I ordered with the express shipping.
      Oh well!!!

If I had known you were in a jam you could have sent us a case or two..with our speed frame we could have helped out...nothing going on over here this week. Phone hasn't rung ONCE today for orders, monday and tuesday maybe 3 calls...so I'm hoping it's just 'summer vacation' for business, otherwise I'm in trouble with nothing happening!
Actually, its time to go through all the invoices and find out who hasn't paid bills due us yet...I know one client alone just picked up the last of his $5000 job...and I bet there's another dozen orders for that much total on top to collect...
time to clean up the shop while we're dead!

          Roland:
Wish you were closer! Our machine broke down yesterday morning and we are totally unable to get orders out. In the middle of a big one with 17 shirts left to go and needed to be out the door tomorrow. Another order for 12 shirts needs to ship UPS tomorrow for in-hands to client on Friday and don't know if we'll be able to do it in time! Client told me "not" was NOT an option for him. Ha!!
Tech is due out at 8am tomorrow to look at machine. Until then we are STUCK! With many orders starting to back up and be under abnormally tight client deadlines. Ugh!

Needle #3 broke mid-design yesterday and 3/4 of the needle is jammed between the rotary hook and the silver surrounding it on the left. Had to order a replacement rotary hook and have it overnighted so it's here for the tech tomorrow morning. Yikes!

Its good to know that you got your chance to vent.
I am sorry, but I want everyone here to know that, Wasatch didn't drop the ball. Its you, who never got back to us with the CREDIT CARD information.
If you don't do your part, then I am sorry to say, you are not serious about your job.
Despite knowing that our UPS truck leaves exactly at 4:00PM, you didn't bother to get back to us until 4 minutes yo 4:00PM!!! It took you more that two hours to provide us with your Credit Card info.
Sorry, but if you don't pay, we don't ship. Please let your friends know that if they want to work with Wasatch, they have to be serious about their business. Being lazy or sloppy won't help.

Are you serious with that response? Do you know how many people will never deal with you now because you acted like an idiot on a public list?

                Stupid business move.

You beat me to it John, I was going to throw in my two bits about attitude can cost customers...having gone through entirely the same situation with a few suppliers just in the last month! If it's MY mistake, well-that's my problem-but when a customer rep or sales rep tries to say it wasn't THEIR problem...when I have proof otherwise...well-that can cost THEM my business! And to treat my 'friends' like this anonymous 'rep' did...well, I get their email specials and catalogs all the time...from here on, I'll mark them 'remove from list'. I rely a LOT on what another friend in the industry might say about such and such a supplier...so I don't deal with idiots...I let the competition have them!

Who at "Wasatch" sent that out? Sounds more like a "Sasquatch" (insert bigfoot in mouth). I would have them sweeping the floors looking for cockroaches in the corners of the darkest warehouse in Atlanta...

I'm all for hearing both sides of the stories, but you're right, John, much less than professional. Obviously a new member to this forum.

That would be your take on it. I "personally" spoke to one of your employees that "guaranteed" me that the order WOULD be placed on Monday.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that making a customer happy should be your number one priority.

I was not asking for anything extreme. I just wanted the extra shipping charges refunded. Not a big deal, but obviously your company did not agree.

Posting here without signing your name is WRONG!

                        No Way!!!
Guys, there's no way THAT was a representative from Wasssupp T's. It couldn't be. I can't imagine a company would talk to a customer that way. Whatever happened to... "The customer's always right"?
If it was, in fact, a true Watchout T's manager who replied, then,....
You were doing okay until the "Lazy and Sloppy" comment. That's where the unecessary bomb was dropped.

I apologize for what the rep said here.
We are trying to get to the bottom of this whole issue.
I have already left a message for LuAnn, and hopefully we will be posting an update tomorrow morning.
Once again, my apologies to LuAnn.
