I finally received my UPIC membership, but I'm s little confused. I've looked at online catalogues. Do we get wholesale pricing on these items? Do I need to contact the company directly to ask about a discount? How does this work? I'm looking for ink pens w/ my company name on them. Is there a company anyone can recommend? Thanks! Dianne

There is a coded price structure, the 'A' code or 'P' code for all ad specialty suppliers. Hidden somewhere on the catalog page, or sometimes in plain site...will be letters like abc or pqr, or combinations (3a2bc) etc.
It may also be hidden in freight info, description, etc. as (3a2bc). Just looks out of place but that's the discount off retail.
A (P)=50% B (Q)=45% C (R)=40%, etc.
and something like 3a2bc means first 3 price columns are 50% off, next 2 are 45% off, next one is 40% off.
To get the absolute rock bottom price for YOUR own imprinted goods since you are now a distributor, call the pen company and ask for SELF PROMO distributor pricing, and if they have any SELF PROMO deals. I generally buy several thousand 'self promo' deals-500 each of half a dozen different off price deals every other year for under 20ยข each.
Don't forget-except for RARE instances, 2nd color, 2nd side, setup, logo charge, will NEVER be discounted-usually 15% off to dealer-that's all. So if you sell ad specialties to clients and forget the extra charges are NOT 50% off-you can blow any profit on a small order!
