  • Roller Derby Uniforms

I put names and numbers on the back of some uniforms for a local ladies roller derby team. They told me that if they were not done on time, the whole team would be pounding on the door to my shop offering to do whatever it took to get these. I was not sure if that was a threat or a bribe!

They are putting together players from the local region to form a travel team and will need new uniforms. I want to make a creative proposal to them, but am not that creative. Anyone have any good ideas what roller derby girls wear? ... Roland?

    Thanks.

Roller derby? I didn't think that really existed! Wow... are we out of the loop up here in the woods. Thought that was only in the movies. If you can't find 'roller derby' uniforms, I'd check and see if soccer uniforms would work-the 'goalie' shirts are the wild and crazy prints and have the padded elbows they might like.
If they want 'form fitted' (translation-tight and revealing) then maybe the 'bike racer' lyra shirts and stuff.
I'd be interested to see if there IS such a company making derby stuff and what THEIR catalog looks like! LOL

I tracked down a roller derby league website, and came up with this for their uniform supplier.
