Does anybody know what's going on with Jerzees and their stock-outs on many small youth clothes?

I am still trying to locate 15 small tees in Royal (29B) and I wrote the company only to be told the expected ship date is late DECEMBER!

Now I need 2 small royal 437Y knit shirts and those are out of stock everywhere as well.

Is this normal for a large manufacturer? In my 2 years of embroidering I've never seen things out of stock for more than a week or two.

If anybody has either of these items, please email me as I desperately need to get these to fulfill a school order. I've bouht 5 other tees trying to match the color but none of them are close.

Not sure what is happening with Jerzees specifically but we had the same problem with Russell Athletic clothing last year. Had to wait a couple of months before we could fill a school order because they were out of stock on a couple of different items.

In our case not only did we have to wait for the order from Russell, after about a month of waiting they decided to discountinue one of the items we were waiting for ..... so we never did get that item. Luckily the school understood that it was not our fault and they came back this year.

Now days virtually all clothing is manufactured at very low cost off shore and then shipped over by boat. This process is slow and takes plenty of preplanning. If a company is asleep at the wheel and lets its warehouse stock over here run low ... we end up waiting.

We try to use North American manufactured items as much as possible.

This happens every year when school starts.

Try finding a jacket the 2nd week of December, it is usually out of stock.
