• Plastic Bags

So we got the local schools Spirit Wear business and want to get plastic bags to put the shirts (and our business cards) in but need a supplier.

Can someone suggest a company? And what size clear bags do you typically order to put customers garments in?

Noteworthy out of New York, I use them for 'preprinted' patch handle bags, 2 sizes. As 'distributor self promo' the cost is ridiculously cheap.

If you have a UPIC or ASI number you are good to go with them at distributor pricing.

We use Uline, they have a warehouse in Philly.
We buy everything from Tape to boxes bags and
dvd cases. I but the link for all the bags
but we use the printed "Thank you bags" you can put 6 or more shirts in there if you try hard enough! There may be some chaeaper places but
there prices have always been reasonable and the service is great. Can order online also.

Trying to figure out which size and type would be best for single shirt encasing - similar to what the more expensive shirts like ping and nike come in direct from sanmar.

Guessing flap lock:

or

Vent Hole:

but what size? 12 x 15/16? Is 1 mil thick enough or do we need 2 mil?

I use uline for most of my shipping supplies. I just ordered some boxes from them yesterday. John, it is one day UPS ground shipping to Maryland. 9x12 will work for shirts but sweats and jackets, you will have to go larger. The 1 mil bags are very thin and will tear easily as you slide the shirt in. Suggest you get the 2 mil. I don't think uline has shirt folding boards (they might though, I haven't looked) but those come in handy for folding, most fixture stores sell them or you can get them online, I think I paid $20 after shipping for mine.
