Looking for recommendations on a digitizer for our Amayas. Who is everyone using?

The digitizer we've been using has had his quality slip terribly the past month. His designs run 'okay' on our Barudan machine, but they are too sloppy for our Amayas.

    Thanks in advance,
    Kip

I do all of my own digitizing. If you need help or a logo done, I can do that too. I charge by difficulty, not by stitch count. (Sometimes a 10,000 stitch design takes less time than a 4,000 stitch design which is why I do this way.) 95% of small pocket size designs are less than $50. If you send me the logo, I can give you a quote.

I digitize most of my designs myself. Once in a while, I stump on something and need help. The previous job I got stumped with a very difficult client, I got it digitized by Clear Sky and it was not any better than what I had done. Most people are used to digitizing for other machines where they have densities of 3.2 which croaks on my amaya. In the end, mine came out better since I had perfected it. Also, I got a hint from roland to use satin fill instead of column and it came out pretty good.

I do spend quite a bit of time doing it. Janel Harris from Silver Star Embroidery does do digitizing for Amaya. She did a few designs for me.

Even when I help out some one, I do a complete stitch out on my machine to
      make sure it runs ok.

We have used ClearSky ( http://www.clearsky24.com ) and The Digitizing Factory ( http://www.digitizingfactory.com ) among others.

Still end up adjusting things here, and tweaking things there. Usually have to go to 125-150% pull comp. Rarely do we get a design that is exactly perfect and ready to go on the Amaya. That would be an advantage of going with someone that owns one and runs the test designs on them.

Digitizing Factory has been pretty reliable. They are overseas so if I have a rush job, I can send it out by 8pm and have it back the next day when I wake up at 8am. That's saved us a few times. Also, when we have had issues with a design, they were good about adjusting and sending back revised designs.

I am sure others will have more suggestions!

            Hi Steve,
I'm looking for a new digitizer, who can digitize for Amayas, to outsource all of my digitizing to. Would you be interested?

At the moment, I have 5 logos that I need to get quotes, estimated stitch counts, and turn around times on.

I need someone who is reliable and dependable. Please let me know if you'd like to discuss this further.

Feel free to call me if you prefer. I can be reached on my toll free phone #: 800-291-6953

            Thank you,
