Has anyone successfully saved lettering where you have "tweaked" certain letters as a lettering font? We frequently use template designs and just change the text. We've found that certain letters - W, M, C, etc need "work" to make them look more consistent with the rest of the font. We've been manually changing the setting every time but it is time intensive because we sell single piece orders fairly frequently. It would be SO MUCH easier if we could make the adjustments and then just type out the text with the corrected letter width, pull comp, etc. Make sense?

Yes! There is a way. It is not much discussed because it is NOT easy. But it is doable. And since you only want to change a few letters, it will be ever much faster than doing the whole alphabet. Check out Alphabet Editor under Tools. And godo luck, you'll need it! And be very sure that you rename the font. I would find the font. copy and rename. That is if it is a Melco font. And make sure that the font you are working on is 1" high. This will make life easier for you. Let us know how you do and maybe you can put up some lessons for us.Juli in Kona<br />Stitches in Paradise
