Design Shop V10 shutting down

Any one having issues with DS v10

I found last night it is shutting down
when I try and open any file
also when I try and save any file.

This is new, I use it daily and this just started.

Doing NOTHING NEW...

I have restarted the program
& the computer
run scans & diagnostics (nothing)

a bit Leary about reinstalling with this software based dongle.

any thoughts.

I lost 4 hours of work last night due to this.

I had a Windows update that tried to run in the background and hogged the memory. That shut mine down. Hasn't happened since. Check the memory usage maybe?

What OS? I know there were a TON of patches to windows 10 on November 11th... You could try rolling back windows to before all of them happened last nite - though that doesn't fix the issue long term.

Windows 7 Professional.

I am good to go now a reinstall, after deactivating it did the trick.

Though I did loose all the work I did last night. bummer.....
