Sharing Violation Error in DS

I recently upgraded to the newest version of DS Pro +. My digitizer always sends files in EXP and CND format to me, but Im getting a sharing violation error when I attempt to open them in DS. The only way I can use them is to open my operating system, load the design file and save it as an OFM. Can someone help me with what I'm doing wrong and is OFM the only file format DS will recognize?

To answer my own question, I called tech support. They did a complete uninstall of all Melco software, including registry files. After a reinstall, everything is working perfectly with no problems.
